John Killoran, Jr.
President and CEO

John launched Clover Leaf in 2005, building on his expertise in the field of Pollution Prevention (P2) and waste-reducing sustainability projects. He grew the firm from a 3-person start-up to an 80+ person firm that provides innovative environmental, health & safety, and technological solutions to large clients within the Department of Defense and Department of Energy, along with Fortune 100 companies such as DuPont and Hess. His consulting services and his early embrace of information technology led to the development of Clover Leaf’s patented software, AutoPilot®, a task and workflow system that works from email on mobile devices. He founded a second company, @Pay, in 2011 after inventing the “Two-Click Email Check-Out Technology”.

John holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Widener University, and a J.D. from Widener Univeristiy School of Law.

Matthew Custer, CIH
Vice President

Matt is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with extensive experience providing comprehensive services in areas of industrial hygiene and safety; workload planning and controls; and Baseline Occupational Exposure Assessments for large government and commercial clients. Matt co-founded Clover Leaf Solutions with John Killoran and Cynthia Brown in 2005 and leads the firm’s health and safety work at Department of Energy facilities; military installations and bases; R&D facilities; universities; and commercial clients such as Materion Advanced Materials. He was also instrumental in developing the “Two-Click Email Check-Out Technology” and co-founded @Pay with John  in 2011. Matt is a leader in his field in process development and quality assurance/quality control.

Matt holds a B.S. in biology and a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico, and an M.S. in Environmental Health (concentration in Environmental Toxicology) from Colorado State University.

Cynthia Brown, PMP
Vice President

Cynthia has more than 26 years of experience in the environmental field. She is a certified Program Management Professional, and is a leader in the field of regulatory compliance, data analysis and management, air quality, pollution prevention, EPCRA, and hazardous waste. Her in-depth regulatory knowledge and creative approaches help clients reduce waste and emissions, reduce costs, and increase compliance. She leads Clover Leaf’s environmental work for clients across the U.S. such as Hess Corporation, American Electric Power (AEP), Pacific Gas and Electric, Virginia’s and New Mexico’s Army National Guards, and the Army Environmental Command (AEC). She also leads our proposal and development team and client sales and services for AutoPilot, and co-founded Clover Leaf with John Killoran and Matt Custer in 2005.

Cynthia holds a B.A. in Geology from Williams College, and an M.S. in Earth & Planetary Sciences from the University of New Mexico.

Corey Englebrake
Director of Construction Services

Corey has been a leader in the construction industry for more than 15 years, serving as a project manager for the past eight years. From his early hands-on days to his current construction management experience, Corey oversees concurrent, multiple projects that range from $50,000 to $9 million. His experience includes meeting the rigorous requirements of remodels and expansions of Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club buildings across the northeast U.S.; ground-up construction of commercial buildings such as Ethan Allen; and remodeling numerous school buildings throughout a district. He currently is overseeing a multi-million dollar construction management and inspection services contract for Sandia National Laboratories and holds a GB98 Contractors License with the State of New Mexico.

Corey holds an Associates Degree in Power Plant Technology from the Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades.
